This Thursday 28 April is International Workers Memorial Day (IWMD). It’s the day we take an extra moment to remember and mourn the dead, and fight for the living. Get together at work for a minute of silence and remember why safety is so important. Take a photo of you and your workmates with your boots off and tools down – post it on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtags ‪#‎ToolsDown‬ ‪#‎PutYourShoesOut‬ and ‪#‎IWMD

Every 9 minutes a construction worker in Australia is killed or seriously injured. It is preventable. So put your #ToolsDown and #PutYourShoesOut for #IWMD this Thursday.
